The PLA Air Force (PLAAF) has converted some of its retired Jian-7 fighters into unmanned target drone to simulate enemy aircraft in air-to-air and surface-to-air weapon testing. The pilot seat on these aircraft has been removed and replaced by radio control equipment. The Jian-7 target drone can fly at supersonic speed and simulate typical manoeuvres of modern combat aircraft.

PLA空軍（PLAAF）已經(jīng)把一些退役殲-7戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)改裝成無人靶機(jī)，在空對(duì)空和地對(duì)空武器測(cè)試中去模擬敵方飛機(jī)。這些飛機(jī)上的飛行員座位已經(jīng)被拆除用無線電操縱儀器代替。殲-7靶機(jī)能以超音速飛行而且模擬現(xiàn)代戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)的典型動(dòng)作。
